Local wireless networks provide low-cost high-tech Broadband infrastructure in areas where traditional cable and telephone Broadband technology cannot service. It can also provide the backbone for a much faster network with fully synchronous speeds typically much faster than traditional broadband, ensuring future bandwidth requirements can be met with minimal effort to upgrade!

If you live in a community where you don't have broadband already, or if you have ADSL already but would like to benefit from a fast line speed (up to 8mbps download and 1mbps uplaod speeds), please get in touch to discuss your opportunities. We can usually set up local community networks with only a few people who are keen to get online with those faster speeds.

Our networks use only carrier class equipment providing reliable and robust networks that are as dependable if not more dependable that traditional copper based communications. Setup and installation in your community is always fast and efficient since we have not exchanges to be upgraded and the bandwidth can be carried over the airwaves.

Trigger levels for Planet802 Community Networks range from area to area, but if you are in our fixed Wireless area, with as little as 5 users you can start a network. We are currently working in the Midlands, within a 15km radius of the Sutton Coldfield Radio Mast. If you are in this area, or can see the Mast from your rooftop, you can likely get us to install a local network for Broadband access within a few short weeks.

If you want to "host" one of our mesh network base stations at your premesis please get in touch. We can offer discounted and sometimes free broadband for our hosts in areas where we require a base station to serve a broader customer base.
